Workout Quotes from Tomasz Adamek and trainer Roger Bloodworth

"I've already forgotten about the last fight (Klitschko)... I quickly came back to the gym and went back to work. Twice, I went to Roger's house and worked on my technique more than anything. I needed to prepare to get back in the ring. I'm a mountain boy and I wasn't about to quit. I knew I had to win tougher fights so I could get another chance. I can't think about retiring. Not now. I still have to fight."  -ADAMEK

"Tomasz has learned a lot from the Klitschko fight. I think we got in the ring with him too soon, but boxing is a business and the offer was good, so we had to take it. Had we waited, things might have been different. Since then, he has spent two and three weeks with me in Glen Carbon (Illinois) working on technique and it went well..." - BLOODWORTH

December 6, 2010, North Bergen, NJ - Tomasz Adamek (42-1, 27KO's) and Vinny Maddalone (33-6, 24KO's) attended the final press conference before their upcoming heavyweight title fight, which will take place this Thursday at Prudential Center in Newark, NJ. Adamek's IBF International Heavyweight and NABO Heavyweight Titles will be on the line for this "Brick City Boxing Series" show.

Here are some quotes from the press conference:

Kathy Duva, Main Events CEO, Adamek's Promoter:

"It's fitting that we have this fight on a Thursday night. We started out at Prudential Center on a Thursday two years ago with what many people called the fight of the year, Adamek - Cunningham."

"I know there's not going to be a person watching this fight that will be disappointed. These are two fighters with great heart and determination."

Kathy Duva: "Every time Tomasz Adamek steps into the ring at Prudential Center we have an amazing time. It's a giant party. It starts a few hours before the fight and continues until the last punch is thrown, literally!" She added, "The other night I was at the Jets game and everyone was crowded in close quarters waiting for the rain to stop, having a great time and I said, 'My God this looks just like an Adamek fight, except here everyone's in green and white.' Everyone who comes to see an Adamek fight is going to have the time of their life."
